Mango Wood Cheese Board — 54cm
Long enough for a Saturday board, light enough to carry one-handed.
A long-format mango wood board, oiled by hand and softened at the corners so it sits cleanly on a kitchen counter or the middle of a long table. Fifty-four by twenty-seven centimetres — wide enough for a real grazing board, with a small loop at one end if you'd rather it lived on the wall between dinners.
We chose mango wood for the warmth it brings to a hosting table. The grain is gentle; the colour is honest. With time and a quarterly oil, the board will darken into something more itself — patinated where the cheese knife always lands, lighter where guests reach in first. Use it once, and you'll keep using it for ten years.
Use it for

- Mid-week chopping, then straight to the table

Care
Hand wash with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Dry flat — never soak. Re-oil quarterly with a food-safe mineral or vegetable oil to keep the colour rich and the grain protected.
"Hospitality is not the food. It's the surface you serve it on, the time you take, the room you make."
